Attendance Acknowledgement Notice for CoVid-19 Vaccinated Students

 

 

1. Attendance Acknowledgement methods 

A. Portal (Course → Course Activities → Attendance Acknowledgement) : Attach needed documents for registration

B. Reasons for Acknowledgement : Write as "Other inevitable reasons" ※「Attendance Recognition Guidelines」 Article 3 No.10

C. Documents 

a) Symptoms : Pain of the vaccinated area, or other symptoms such as flare, fever, headache, fatigue, muscle pain, chills, nausea, stomachache, diarrhea, allergies, and joint pain. 

b) If symptoms are constant and one is absent for more than 7 days, one needs to bring a diagnosis letter of the head of our affiliated hospital (Korea University Hospital) or the head of another general hospital. 

D. In case of some vaccinations, there may be a 2nd round in which the same standards will be applied as the 1st round. 

 

2. Attendance acknowledgement for professors

A. Portal (Course → Course Activities → Attendance Acknowledgement) : Could confirm student registration records

※ The history records of student registration will also be notified via e-mail. 

B. When grading, one should confirm the application records and reflect them on attendance. 

C. Attendance will be acknowledged if the student applies with related documents of proof based on the 'Vaccine Public Payment Operations' of the Ministry of Education. 


3. Notes 

A. Other Attendance and Grading Standards follow the 「Attendance Recognition Guidelines 

- In case of recognition, grading is only allowed if the actual attendance dates are over half of the entire lecture attendance dates.  

- If pre-registration is not available, one should register at least 10 days before the reasons of acknowledgement expire. 

B. In case one doubts any symptom of the illness, please notify 1339 or a public health center nearby, and if drastic allergy symptoms occur, please call 119 or visit a nearby emergency room.
