Information on the application for the first major assignment of the Department of Public Governance and Leadership in 2022.

Those eligible for major assignment must refer to the following and apply within the period.


1. Application period: 10:00 on December 28, 2021 (Tue) to 16:00 on January 4, 2022 (Tue).
2. Application method: Apply via <Application for Allocation of Major> of the school portal menu during the application period.
- You can enter and modify anytime during the day (you must click Confirm after the final input, and if you click Confirm, you cannot modify it.)

3. Announcement of Major Allocation: Bachelor's information on the website of the Department of Public Governance and Leadership on January 20 (Thursday), 2022 at 17:00 (scheduled) Major Allocation

4. First major assignment applicators
A. Among the students enrolled in the 2021 KUSIS curriculum, students who enrolled in the first and second semesters of their  first grade (the first semester and the first second semester after admission)
B. A student who has not been assigned the first major among students enrolled in the Department of KUSIS in 2010-2020 and has registered and completed the first and second semesters of the first grade.


5. Department of major assignment.

◆Students admitted to KUSIS can apply only to the following 27 departments/departments.

A. Business School: Business Administration
B. College of Liberal Arts: Department of Korean Language and Literature, Department of Philosophy, Department of Korean History, Department of History, Department of Social Studies, Department of Chinese Literature, The Department of English and English Literature, the Department of German and German Literature, The Department of French and French Literature, the Department of Chinese Language and Chinese Literature, the Department of Norse and Norse Literature, Department of Japanese literature, Department of Western language and literature, Department of linguistics.
C. College of Bioscience: Department of Food Resource Economics
D. College of Politics and Economics : Department of Political Science, Economics, Statistics, and Public Administration
E. College of Engineering: Convergence Energy Engineering
F. College of Datascience: Department of Computer and Data Science.
G. Department of International Studies: Department of International Studies
H. Department of Media: Department of Media
I. Department of Smart Security: Department of Smart Security
J. Department of Psychology: Department of Psychology

* Pure quota and foreigners are assigned to the majors they want (excluding medical, teacher, nursing, pharmacy, cyber defense, arts and sports, Sejong Campus department, and separately designated departments). However, in case of some departments such as science and engineering, the selection may be determined through preliminary tests or interviews due to their nature, and procedures and methods shall be determined in consultation with the relevant university (undergraduate).

6. Criteria for allocating of first major
A. The order of allocation of the first major department shall be in the order of priority allocation of the first candidate, and then the next candidate (second, third...). (You have to write down all the candidates)
B. Those who have not applied for assignment to the first major department shall be assigned arbitrarily.
C. In the case of some students who are assigned along with those who enter the 2021 school due to leave of absence (general, military enlistment) from 2010 to 2019, they are assigned together with those who enter the 2021 school without implementing a separate allocation procedure.
